The SmartGraft device is used to gently extract individual follicular units (typically 1, 2 or 3 hairs) from the donor area, typically the back of your head. These grafts may then be implanted into the recipient area.

Your new hair grafts are intended to grow in the areas that are thinning, creating a fuller head of hair. Patients often report feeling a renewed youthful appearance and higher confidence following a procedure.

The minimally invasive SmartGraft procedure has a very short recovery period when compared to FUT hair restoration methods. You can typically return to work in a few days with very few activity restrictions.

Follicles are harvested using SmartGraft FUE technology. Only the necessary donor area is cut. By leading the surrounding area uncut, longer hair can cover the donor area. Consult with your provider about available options.

The full impact of hair transplant surgery can be fully appreciated in as early as 9-12  months, though depending on age, health, and post-surgical care, patients may see results much sooner. Immediately after your procedure, your follicles will go through several growth phases.
